This is a delicious Gluten-Free alternative to egg rolls. Very satisfying. I have varied it slightly from the original recipe.

Sausage Eggroll in a Bowl

  • 16 oz Jimmy Dean Premium All Natural Pork Sausage Roll
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded (6 +/- cups)
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and microplaned
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 little green onions, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil


  • Cook sausage in a skillet over medium/high heat, do not drain.
  • Add next six ingredients, cook 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Top with onions and sesame oil.
