The trailer for the Last Jedi is here, and so is the analysis. Each publication, each person, has their own view on what, exactly is going to happen. Will Luke (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) spend the entire movie training on a planet? Is this a remake of Empire Strikes back, or something else entirely new?
It’s hard to tell, and it is equally hard to tell where fans are with it. Comments range from those who think the trailer is weak to thousands who say that the line “the Jedi must end” sends chills up their spine.
The last category seems to be predominant. Most hardcore fans like the new movies, and knew Disney and Lucas had to somehow introduce a younger audience to the franchise if they had any hope of matching the success of the original trilogy and avoid the disaster of the three films in the middle that shall not be named.
Tell us what you think. Good trailer, weak? What do you think the new movie will bring?

I liked it. It’s only a teaser, after all.
I have my own theory about the Jedi – one I’ve held for years. Just remember that Annikin was supposed to restore balance to the Force, not save it, or the Jedi. Following that logic, the Force had been off-kilter (probably for some time) by the time Annikin is born.
And the Force really ruined Luke’s life if you take an overall view. It seems natural he wants to end the Jedi. I agree with you.
